Teens
for Jeans
Donate Jeans to Homeless
The
Student Council and Athletic Department are teaming up to fight teen
homelessness. On Friday, February 10 at the
boys basketball game, Student Council will sponsor a drive to collect gently
used jeans. The donated jeans will go to help homeless teens in our area.
Donators will receive one dollar off the ticket price to get into the game.
Students may also can drop off your jeans during the day in the main office.

Concordia College Band to Perform

p.m.
The
Concordia Band has thrust itself into the international spotlight
with its recent CD release, Introductions. This collegiate
ensemble under the baton of Dr. Scott Jones has toured extensively
both nationally and abroad. As a part of their annual domestic tour,
The Concordia Band will be making an appearance at Big Foot High
School performing a joint concert with the BFHS Wind Ensemble. The
concert will be held in the Big Foot High School Auditorium at
7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 13.
Tickets to the concert are $4 for adults and $3 for students and
seniors. Following Monday’s concert, Jones and several Concordia
Band members will be working with BFHS students in a master class
setting. The concert is sponsored by Mercy Walworth Health System

School Connects Campus Wi-Fi
BFHS is
wireless! The school converted its network infrastructure to new
switches. By updating ten-year-old switches
and routers and adding nearly 80 wireless access points, BFHS offers
free wireless access throughout its building. It short, anyone at
school can access to the Internet anytime, from anywhere.
Every
classroom has wireless access. Hotspots include: the commons, the
library, the auditorium, the main office, and all three gyms. Students and
staff can bring their own devices and access the Internet. Visitors
too can access to web-based applications without the need for an
access key. BFHS will filter all users’ content.
