Eugene and Trudy Small Scholarship
-
This scholarship was established by Mrs. Gertrude Small in 1988 in memory of her husband, Mr. Eugene Small. They were the owners and founders of the Styleline Company. The Styleline Company dates back to 1951, when it first began manufacturing ventilated aluminum awnings in Southern Illinois. Styleline moved to the Wisconsin cities of Fontana in 1954 and Walworth on Hwy 14 North of town in 1969. In 1997 when Trudy passed away Styleline was sold and has been based in Monroe, Wisconsin. Eugene and Trudy had a son that was tragically killed in an automobile accident when he was quite young. After the death of Mrs. Small it was continued as the Eugene and Gertrude Small Memorial Scholarship with the funds being managed by the Big Foot Educational Foundation. The scholarship was designated by the benefactors to be granted to students majoring in business or science.
