Kampbell Hehr Signs her Letter of Intent
This morning, Senior Kampbell Hehr signed her letter of intent to play for Georgia State University next year. Georgia State is located in Atlanta and is part of the Sun Belt Conference. Hehr earned a full-tuition athletic scholarship and intends to pursue a major in public health.
Since her freshmen year, Hehr rarely ever came off the volleyball court when healthy. She was our primary setter and led the team in assists all four years. As a senior, Hehr also was a dominate force as a hitter when she played in the front row. This year, Hehr led the team in aces, assists, and kills and was second on the team in digs.
While at Big Foot High School, Hehr’s hard work on the volleyball court has earned her several conference, regional, and state-wide recognitions. Hehr has been a four-year letterwinner and was voted as the Most Valuable Player on the team each of the last three years. She also added the role of captain during her junior and senior years. At the conference and regional level, Hehr was a three-year 1st Team All-Conference selection and was named to the Walworth County All-County team and the Janesville Gazette’s All-Area team in each of the last two years. And, at the state level, Hehr was recognized as a two-year recipient on the Honorable Mention All-State award from the Wisconsin Volleyball Coaches Association.
Good luck and congratulations to Kampbell Hehr.
