BFHS FFA Members Hosted and Competed in the Annual District Leadership Development Event (LDE) Contest
Walworth, Wisc - On Wednesday, February 6, 2019, Big Foot's FFA chapter hosted and competed in the annual district Leadership Development Event (LDE) contest. The students competed against FFA members from Badger, Burlington, East Troy, Elkhorn, Union Grove, Waterford, and Whitewater. Out of the nine BFHS FFA members who competed, seven will be moving on to the sectional competition in March at Elkhorn. In order for a student to qualify for the sectional competition, the student had to rank in the top two of their respective event.
Congratulations to the following members who qualified for sectionals:
Sydney Bender placed second in Job Interview
Melissa Konkel placed first in Prepared Public Speaking
Ethan Jackowski placed second in Extemporaneous Public Speaking
The Parliamentary Procedure team placed first in the event. The team consisted of Sydney Bender, Ryan Loudenbeck, Jacob Curtis, Jaqueline Sanchez, and Emily Vacula
