BFHS Hires a New Food Services Director

During the July Board of Education meeting, Mrs. Brenda Utesch was approved to be our new Food Services Director.

Biography of Mrs. Utesch

"I am excited to be hired as the new Food Service Director at BFHS. I was born and raised in Walworth and proud to be a BFHS alumni, as well as the rest of my family.

For 65 years, my family owned and operated Koerner Bus Service, Inc. in Walworth. We were a small school bus company that transported special needs students from school districts in Walworth County to Lakeland School in Elkhorn. This past June, after 32 years for me and 45 for my brother we sold the business to Dousman Transport. My brother retired and I decided it was also time for me to try something different.

My husband, Craig, a local contractor,  and I met here at BFHS and have been married for 33 years. He has been both head wrestling and softball coach in previous years. My daughter Betsy, 27 and a a UW grad, lives in Wheaton, IL and Will, 22, lives here in Walworth, newly graduated from St. Norbert College in De Pere.

I am an avid Wisconsin sports fan, although a sole Packer fan in my family. Unfortunately the rest are Bears’ fans. I enjoy traveling, camping, Jeeping and taking walks with my dog.

I look forward to being part of the Chief family and have already felt so welcomed.

Once a Chief, always a Chief."
