BFHS Prepares for the ACT Test to be held on March 3, 2020
February 13, 2020 - Testing season is upon us. On Tuesday, March 3, 2020, all Juniors across the state of Wisconsin will be taking the state mandated ACT Test with writing.
This year, Big Foot High School will be proctoring the tests in the community rooms at Grace Church and Faith Lutheran Church in Walworth. This means that ALL Freshmen, Sophomores, and Seniors will have school as normally scheduled that day.
On March 3, Juniors will report to Big Foot High School before 7:45 a.m. and will then walk or be bussed with their proctors to the testing centers. Students who arrive before 7:40 will be given a free breakfast. According to ACT guidelines, students who are late will not be allowed to test and will have to test on the makeup date. All juniors will be provided a free lunch, or they may bring a sack lunch from home. Juniors will return to Big Foot after testing is complete and be dismissed at approximately 1:30 p.m., or they can remain in the commons until the busses leave at 2:50 p.m.
Over the next few weeks, please remind your students of the importance of test prep. Students have been receiving daily test prep at Big Foot throughout the year, but there are multiple resources for students to use at home as well. Please see this ACT link for a few different options.
If you have any questions or concerns please contact the testing coordinator, Stacie Sheppard, at email@example.com or 262-394-4515.
