Big Foot Area Schools Closing
An update from the BF Food Service.

Governor Evers has now declared that schools will be closed in Wisconsin "indefinitely". We do not know nor can we anticipate when school will reopen. At this time, we will continue with our virtual learning platforms.

Dear Big Foot Students and Families:
The coronavirus, known as COVID-19, continues to impact communities across the globe. As you know, Big Foot High School is currently closed until Monday, April 6 (including the Rec Department and all extracurricular activities). I encourage you to look at the DPI COVID-19 website (COVID-19 Novel Coronavirus) for many updated memos regarding the mandated school closures.
During the closure, our staff is diligently working to provide our students with an outstanding virtual education. Teachers have reached out to your students virtually with expectations for each class. Please have your student check their email daily. Below is a FAQ concerning the next three weeks.
If you have any questions, please contact the teachers or department directly using our staff directory, Big Foot HS Staff Directory.
As the situation continues to evolve, we will keep you informed of any changes affecting your student and Big Foot High School. Mr. Dowden will be emailing all students on 3/17/2020 concerning 3rd and 4th quarters, and how the rest of the year will be assessed.
Thank you very much for your patience, and support of your student.
Doug Parker, District Administrator
March 14, 2020 Update
Big Foot Areas Schools will now be closed on Monday, March 16th and remain closed until at least April 6th. The districts will continue to provide at home learning through both learning materials being sent home and virtual learning opportunities. More information will be sent to students/families and communicated through the website, email, Swift K12, and Facebook page in the near future. If you have any questions or need assistance, please call the school office at (262) 275-2116 or email Doug Parker at email@example.com
March 13, 2020 Update
Governor Tony Evers has issued a statewide closure of all schools in Wisconsin. We will close after school on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 and tentatively reopen on April 6, 2020. The closure will include cancellation of all school related activities and childcare.
Teachers will be sending information for virtual learning, and some may send paper work as well.
The Department of Public Instruction is working on guidance for schools, and it remains unclear if there will be any lost instructional days forgiven by the state. More information will be made available as soon as updates are received.
