Big Foot High School Announces an AP Testing Update

AP Testing Update

The college board released an important update on March 20th concerning AP Testing for the 2019-20 AP tests. The entire update can be found at this website. Information for Big Foot High School students is below.

AP is still encouraging students to take AP exams; however, AP exams will not take place in the traditional face-to-face setting. Instead, AP exams will be offered on two different dates and all assessments will take place at the student’s home. These will be modified assessments and will only include information from certain units. Students are encouraged to contact their AP teacher to determine which units will be included.

The full exam schedule, specific free-response question types that will be on each AP Exam, and additional testing details will be available by April 3.

Starting March 25, AP will offer free remote learning resources. These sources will be available in addition to the coursework continuing to be offered by your AP teacher.  There will also be free, live AP review courses delivered by AP teachers across the country for students to use as a resource for studying.

Any students who do not wish to take their AP exam, may cancel their test. This is a two step-process. First, students must email Mrs. Sheppard at and list the specific tests which you are cancelling. Then parents must complete the Google Form, that requests a refund from the school office.

As with everything right now, the situation surrounding AP is fluid. Big Foot High School will continue to keep you updated with information as quickly as we receive it.

In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact the AP teachers or myself.
