Big Foot’s Annabelle Parker is heading to the WIAA Division 2 Individual State Tennis Tournament after an impressive showing at the sectional meet this week.

Parker opened the tournament with a dominant 6-0, 6-0 victory over Audrey Quernemoen of Brookfield Academy in the first round. In the semifinals, she faced Misa Herriges of Shorewood, earning another straight-set win 6-1, 6-1 to advance to the championship match.

In the finals, Parker battled Susanna Hundt of Chesterton Academy in a competitive three-set match, ultimately falling 6-3, 4-6, 10-5. Her performance finish secured her a berth to the WIAA State Individual Tournament, which will take place next week at UW–Madison.

Parker’s performance marks another milestone for the Big Foot tennis program, and she will now represent the Chiefs among Wisconsin’s best individual players at the state level.
