Badger Co-op junior Ellie Clausius delivered a standout performance at the WIAA Girls Division 1 State Swim Meet this past weekend, helping propel both of her relay teams to top-10 finishes on the biggest stage of the season.
Clausius made her first splash in the 200-yard freestyle relay, where she powered through the second leg with an impressive 24.61 split. Her strong middle leg helped steady the relay and secure a tie for 9th place overall, placing Badger Co-op among the top sprint relays in the state.
She carried that momentum into the 400-yard freestyle relay, again taking on the second leg and posting a smooth, controlled 53.89 split. Her performance was a key factor in the group’s 8th-place finish, earning valuable points and closing the season on a high note for the program.
With two top-10 state relay finishes and consistent, competitive splits, Clausius proved to be one of Badger Co-op’s most reliable and impactful swimmers at this year’s championship meet—setting the stage for an exciting senior season ahead.
