The Big Foot wrestling program delivered an impressive performance at the Kenosha Bradford Invitational, highlighted by three individual champions and strong team finishes on both the boys’ and girls’ sides.

Individual tournament champions for Big Foot included Chloe Pearce at 145 pounds, Carter Ries at 175 pounds, and Dominic Staver at 190 pounds. Each wrestler battled through competitive brackets to claim first-place finishes in their respective weight classes.

Big Foot also earned several additional podium finishes. Ryne Huff placed second at 126 pounds, Jonah Henningfeld took second at 138 pounds, and Cassidy Vilona also earned a second-place finish at 138 pounds. Gracie Pearce finished third at 126 pounds, while Jayce Henningfeld placed fourth at 120 pounds. Rounding out the medalists were Finn Austin with a fifth-place finish at 132 pounds and Nate Goeddeke placing fifth at 150 pounds.

As a team, the boys finished third overall out of 17 teams, while the girls placed eighth out of 20 teams, reflecting the depth and competitiveness of the Big Foot wrestling program.

The team returns to action on Tuesday against Edgerton, which will also serve as Senior and Parent Night. Fans are encouraged to come out and support the Chiefs.
