On Monday, March 9, nine BFHS math students attended the Rock Valley Conference (RVC) Math Meet in East Troy. Three BFHS students received recognition. Senior Jackson Hamburg placed second overall at the Varsity level and received a medal. Junior Blake Matthes placed 15th overall at the Varsity level and received a certificate. At the Junior Varsity (JV) level, sophomore Haruko Ono placed fifth overall. For team competition, BFHS placed fifth in the conference.
The RVC Math Meet is held each spring at a conference high school. Students participate in individual and team events—both of which contribute to team scores. This year, RCV administrators decided to host the event during the school day so not to interfere with co-curricular activities.
