FBLA State Qualifiers

34 of our members traveled up to Green Bay for the Wisconsin State Leadership Conference. We are very proud of all the hard work and dedication from our members. In addition to the competitions, we had other moments to recognize.

  • Aidan Clary's NLC pin design was chosen as the Wisconsin pin design. This makes it the third straight pin design that was designed by a Big Foot student!

  • Gianna Kud sang the national anthem at the opening session and did a great job - especially after coming off a 4-performance weekend as a lead in our musical.

  • Emme Nyman gave her campaign speech in her bid to be the next state Secretary/Treasurer. Unfortunately she was not elected, but we are proud of her campaign.

  • Our Chapter was recognized as being a Champion Chapter, and being one of only 9 Gold Seal Chapters.

In regards to the competitive events, we had a first for Big Foot and EVERY ONE of our individual/group presentation events made finals. We are very proud of our 26 national qualifiers:

  • Rebecca Konkel, Gavin Baxter, Gianna Kud, Reid Henningfeld, and Greta Mereness in Parliamentary Procedure

  • Mya Gonzalez and Matilda Snyder in Social Media Strategy

  • Sophia Corona, Zuleimy Martinez, and Nalaya Simon in Supply Chain Management

  • Ben Grant, Luca Perez, and Carter Ries in Business Plan

  • Kacey Duber and Maddie Perkins in Digital Video Productions

  • Natalie Roehl and Lilly Treffinger in Broadcast Journalism

  • Brian Ortiz in Business Law

  • Emma Roehl in Career Portfolio

  • Izka Garcia, Ta-Kai Hubbert, and Trevor Morand in Graphic Design

  • Rex Augustson, Jack Hamburg, and Austin Kooyenga in Financial Statement Analysis

  • Ellie Clausius in Future Business Leader

In addition to those qualifiers, we also have 17 national alternates (placed 5th - 8th and can get the nomination if member(s) of the top 4 are unable to attend). Congratulations to the following 6 national alternates who unfortunately did not get called up, but still deserve to be recognized:

  • Humberto Nova, Ethan Hartwig, and Niall Blakeman in Financial Planning

  • Aidan Clary, Alex Cudnik, and Asher Augustson in Computer Game & Simulation

Due to the success of our students, Big Foot was awarded 3rd place in the Outstanding Chapter-Medium Schools.

Good luck to all those heading to San Antonio, TX for the National Conference this summer!
