Congratulations to Big Foot high school Teacher Lisa Konkel for receiving the Honorary American Farm degree at last week's National FFA convention in Indianapolis she is pictured with three of her former students who are now Agri science, teachers Katy V, Amelia H and Sydney B This award from the National FFA Organization is given to individuals for exceptional service to agricultural education, or FFA on a national level, not to members themselves. This is different from the "American FFA Degree," which is the highest degree achievable by an active FFA member who meets rigorous requirements. While many family members can earn the American FFA Degree, the Honorary American FFA Degree is for adults and supporters, not the students themselves.
