The Big Foot high school FFA is sponsoring a blood drive on Monday, August 19 at Big Foot high school in Walworth. The times are 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm if you are available, please stop in and save a life.

Walworth County Public Health is offering Back-to-School Immunization Clinics on certain dates from August-October. Check out the fliers attached for more information!
Reminder: The Wisconsin Department of Health Services updated their vaccination requirements this year - One dose of Meningococcal vaccine is required for students entering Grade 7, and a booster dose is required for students entering 12th grade.

The FFA officers are on their retreat planning their next year events. They got a chance to see the Mount Hood Volcano in Oregon State.
Thank you to the 40% of BFHS families who have completed the online school registration forms in PowerSchool! All families should have the online forms completed for registration by the end of the week, Friday, August 2nd! We will be available for another in-person help session tomorrow morning Tuesday, July 30th from 7:00-9:00am.
Big Foot FFA is on day one of their leadership retreat which is in the state of Oregon this year. Looks like they're having lots of fun and planning next year's programming.
Come and get your yearbooks! Yearbooks are being distributed now until 6pm today from the school store and from 7-9am tomorrow (Tuesday) morning. We have a limited supply of extra yearbooks available if one wasn't ordered.

Earlier this summer the Big Foot STEM Travel Club went on a travel tour to Panama for 7 days. The students spent the week enjoying authentic Panamanian cuisine, seeing significant historical and cultural sights in and around Panama City, providing service to the Panamanian community and environment through beach cleaning and mangrove propagation, and relaxing while swimming and snorkeling in both the Pacific and Atlantic oceans! The students who participated in this exciting experience include: Braiden Bimrose, Luca Perez, Jackson Hirn, Olivia Boviall, Samantha Alfredson, Holly Jelinek, Karla Sanchez, Chelsea Borger, and Eleanet Huerta. Yearbooks are available for pick-up on Monday, July 29th from 9:00am-6:00pm as well as Tuesday, July 30th from 7:00am-9:00am during the registration help day. Students can have another student pick it up with an email to Mr. Roehl. Parents/Guardians listed in PowerSchool may also pick up books for their students.

We have two sheds for sale, both are 8'x10'. Both sheds are built entirely by groups of students in the Big Foot Building Construction class. The Blue shed is being sold for $1200 and the Red shed is being sold for $1100. The red shed does still need soffit installed on the front and back exteriors of the rafters. You will need to bring a trailer for the shed to be loaded onto. Please email smpruessing@bigfoot.k12.wi.us about purchasing and setting up a time for pickup.
