The Jerrys Awards is one of Wisconsin’s High School Musical Awards Programs, encourages, recognizes and honors excellence in high school musical theater. Big Foot students will be participating in this. It takes place on January. 26th 2025 at Lake Lawn Resort.
Join us for WCEDA's first annual Walworth County Culinary Showdown, featuring teams of Walworth County high school culinary students and professional chefs!
Taste the creativity as teams present their take on a typical hot dog, deconstructed and brought to us in a whole new way.
Each team will also bring a gourmet dish of their choice of encased meat, which could include lamb, beef, chorizo, Italian sausage, pork, etc.

A fun 2 days at the Milwaukee Hamilton Holiday Duals. The team finished 5-5 over the two day tournament. Carter Ries (165) continued his dominant season going 10-0, with Ryne Huff (120) and Jonah Henningfeld (126) both going 9-1. The team travels to Deerfield on 1/7 and hosts Edgerton on 1/9 for the first “Pack the Stands” night at Big Foot.

Toys for Tots happened a week ago - what an amazing event. So many children will be surprised this next week with a bounty of gifts under the tree. Amazing work done by the volunteers of the Walworth County Food and Diaper Bank alongside Big Foot Union High School District, Circle of Friends Thrift, Tavern League of Walworth County and many fantastic community members of Walworth County who reached out personally to be a part of it. Big Foot High School partners with First National Bank and Trust to honor two exceptional seniors for the month of October. Ethan Rurey & Molly Andersen were nominated by our faculty for embodying the core values of CHIEFS PRIDE.
Ethan was recognized for his outstanding, effective communication skills, while Molly was commended for her creative problem solving skills. In addition to being named as Students of the Month, Ethan and Molly received a $25 gift card from First National and will be invited to their year-end celebration, where they will join the monthly honorees from other local school districts.
Thank you to First National Bank for partnering with us to celebrate these well-deserving students.
