KOEPPEN AWARD
The Koeppen Award is a given in honor of Captain Howard Koeppen who died while in combat with the Army Air Force in Germany in 1943. The Koeppen Award is one of the most prestigious athletic awards given at Big Foot High School. To qualify for this award, an athlete must be a senior who has shown the "all sports" attitude throughout his or her high school athletic career.
This award is not necessarily to be given to the best athlete. There may be cases where an athlete has made great contribution to his/her teams through spirit, enthusiasm, loyalty, etc.
The criteria used to determine the recipient of this award is as follows:
1. The level of participation;
2. The level of enthusiasm, spirit, and loyalty; and
3. Whether he/she conducted himself/herself in accordance with the policies stated in the Big Foot High athletic handbook.
The Big Foot Science and Ag departments want to take a moment to thank Stateline Veterinarian Services, Big Foot FFA Alumni and Compeer Financial for sponsoring the Science Fair. Your support and partnership played a key role in the success of our event, and we appreciate your participation.

Congratulations to Hannah Grever. At the recent Big Foot high school. Science fair she placed third in her division. In addition to the recognition cash awards were given to the first second and third place winners from local sponsors.

Big Foot High School held their Science Fair on Wednesday. This is the 10th year it has been held . Any Science or Agri-Science student is invited to participate. This year we had 48 students entered. Evan Henningfeld Placed 1st in his class. for 11th and 12th grade.
